Khayman awoke with a dull throb in his head. He didn't know where he was. When he looked up he saw a pale and attractive female sitting in front of him. His neck hurt. He saw the womans mouth move. He couldn't hear anything, his ears were ringing too loudly. Shaking his head, he managed to make the ringing stop. "What did you say?" he groaned.
"I am your mother, young Khayman. You are currently in my night club, if you would like I will show you around, but first I must explain a bit about what you now are."
"What do you mean? What have you done to me?"
"Nothing bad my dear, I have simply woken up my half of the blood that has roared in your veins your entire life. You see, I am currently the eldest of what the mortals call Vampires, and now you are apart of our ranks. I thought it would be a good idea, and I know that you will come to forgive me for doing such with out asking you. The transformation should take place shortly. After that I will tell you of your newly awakened abilities."
Khayman watched as she stood and left. Sure enough he felt something start to change in him. It felt as though he was dying.
Half an hour had past by the time it was over. When it was done Khayman felt hungry. He stood up, ripping right out of steel restraints that held him moments before. Odd that he hadn't notice those. He looked at himself in a mirror across the room. His vision had improved massively, as had his hearing. He saw that his flesh looked more like stone with fine velvet covering it. He could see his veins pulsing below the surface. Hunger. He felt it again, this time like a rock in his stomach. Stepping toward the door it swung forward, and there stood his mother. She looked at him almost shocked that he was standing there. "I should have thought your blood would make you so strong" She said to herself. "I can hear everything you are saying," Khayman said bluntly.
"Yes of course you can, its part of my gift to you as a vampire." She then explained to Khayman the basic principles of a vampiric life.
When she was done Khayman asked politely "Oh, mother dear, what would happen if you life was somehow taken?" She responded gleefully, thinking that she had finally gain his trust, "Well, you my son would take my place my closer disciples becoming yours."
Upon hearing this Khayman shut the door behind them and drove his hand straight into her chest, pulling her still beating heart from her shocked body. He then ate it whole, and proceeded in licking up the blood the spilt forth from her wound. He watched her die, content in his revenge to the mother that never loved him. once she was gone, Khayman sucked her dry, even snapping open her bones and sucking the marrow clean. With every drop he felt fuller, faster and stronger. Once he was done he gathered her remains and stepped into the next room, tossing them in the fire. He then turned and spoke clearly so that all in the room could hear. "These ashes are to remain untouched, it is I who with scatter them. My mother asked that she be my first meal so that I can take her place. None of you are to sire any other vampires until I give consent." Khayman sat and looked around the room. All of these vampires were older, wiser and more experienced then he, yet he possessed something they did not. The blood of their late mistress, the eldest, his mother. And all of it flooded his veins.
